Description
Pancreatitis is a severe condition that affects dogs and can be difficult to diagnose. There are several diagnostics currently available that aid in the diagnosis of pancreatitis, however these have variable sensitivities and specificities. This is study is looking to develop a novel diagnostic test for canine pancreatitis through the identification of genomic markers called exosomes.
Eligibility criteria
- Dogs that weigh greater than 5 kg
- Dogs with pancreatitis
- Dogs with other abdominal diseases, non-abdominal diseases, and healthy controls
