To participate in this program, you must be an individual (i.e., not a business entity) and a legal resident of the United States who is at least 18 years of age. Eligible positions include Veterinarians and Licensed/Credentials Technicians. Review the qualifications below to ensure both you as the referrer and your candidate meet the program rules.

Friends of Ethos – Referral Bonus Program FAQ
- How do I qualify for a referral bonus?
- You must submit the referral by filling out the designated form.
- Your submission must be received before the Ethos recruiting team or the intended direct supervisor contacts the candidate.
- The submission is valid for 6 months from the initial date of referral.
- Do referrals for part-time or per diem veterinarian job openings qualify?
- Typically, yes, if the referred candidate works 2 or more shifts per week.
- Eligibility will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis for part-time or per diem candidates.
- Are referrals for temporary job openings eligible?
- No, temporary job openings filled by a referred candidate do not qualify for a referral bonus.
- How and when is the referral bonus paid?
- A check will be mailed within 30 days after the referred employee completes 180 days of employment.
- Are referrals subject to review?
- Yes, all referrals are reviewed and approved by Talent Acquisition, Operations, and Hospital Management.
- Can the referral bonus program or amounts change?
- Yes, the referral bonus program and bonus amounts are subject to periodic company review and can be changed or eliminated with or without notice
