About
Dr. Yui Kurakake graduated from Rutgers University in 2017 with a BS in Animal Science. She then took a gap year to gain more small animal clinical experience, before attending and graduating from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in 2022. She then completed a small animal rotating internship here at Bulger in 2023, and will formally join the team at Bulger in 2023 as a primary care and emergency veterinarian.
Dr. Kurakake’s professional interests include surgery, dentistry, and dermatology.
Dr. Kurakake grew up on Long Island, New York before attending Rutgers University in New Jersey, and then finally attending vet school in Massachusetts. Outside of work, she enjoys snuggling with her tuxedo cat, Juna, and loves to travel and dance.
