Lara Tomich

DVM, DACVDVeterinary Dermatologist (Dermatology for Animals)
Dermatology services are provided by Dermatology for Animals.

Please call Dermatology for Animals at 518-634-1913 for additional information and to schedule a consultation.

Dr. Lara Tomich grew up surrounded by horses, dogs, cats, chickens, pigeons, lizards, and fish in Warwick, NY and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Cornell University in 2011. She completed her veterinary degree at Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in 2015 where she originally aimed to become an equine veterinarian before falling in love with dermatology during her dermatology course her third year. Following graduation, she completed a small animal rotating internship at Tufts VETS.

Dr. Tomich ventured to the Midwest to complete a dermatology specialty internship and a dermatology residency at the University of Illinois. While she enjoyed the shorter winters and the breathtaking sunsets, she couldn’t wait to come home to NY.

Dr. Tomich’s interests include creative management of allergic dermatitis, laser surgery, and equine dermatology.  She enjoys playing soccer, riding horses, listening to live music, skiing, and cooking in her spare time. Neither she nor her dog, Theodore, enjoy running but will occasionally give it another try.
