Dr. Emily Westerback grew up in Massachusetts and completed her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She then moved to Arizona to earn her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Midwestern University. Her professional interests are in emergency medicine and critical care. Outside of work she loves to spend time with her two pets, Sedona and Sookie. Her free time hobbies include sewing, crafting, lifting weights, and hiking.

During veterinary school, Dr. Westerback opened a small shop selling handmade accessories. She would sew dog bandanas, key fobs, coffee cup cozies, and other fun little items.
