About
Dr. Brett Casna is a New Hampshire native and completed undergraduate studies at Keene State College in New Hampshire. He then attended Virginia Tech for veterinary school. Following veterinary school, he spent several years traveling the country for advanced surgical training and practiced as a board-certified surgeon in Colorado for a period of time before journeying back home to New England.
Dr. Casna has a special interest and has undergone additional advanced training in total hip replacement, arthroscopy, minimally invasive fracture management, and correction of angular limb deformities. Dr. Casna was recently the recipient of the coveted Mark S. Bloomberg Award for excellence in orthopedic research. He maintains a strong interest in research for the betterment of his patients and their families.
Dr. Casna is an avid outdoorsman. During his time away from work you’ll find him on a trail with his beautiful wife and daughter and their handsome Great Dane, drifting flies on the river, or spending time on the golf course with friends. He is excited to be home and join the team at Peak to help with all of your pet’s surgical needs.

In addition to Dr. Casna's prowess for orthopedics, he has always had a fascination with wildlife. He has had unique opportunities to operate on a variety of species with one of the most memorable being a Snow Leopard and an African Lion.
