About
Dr. Annie Kluetmeier graduated from the University of Minnesota and initially worked as a mixed animal vet in semi-rural Oregon and Washington. Always enjoying emergency medicine, she then started working at after-hours emergency clinics in Washington and Oregon. An opportunity at a 24-hour specialty/emergency hospital prompted a cross-country move to Vermont where she currently still resides. After over 10 years in emergency medicine, Dr. Kluetmeier shifted paths and spent two years with ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center. While she loved the toxicology aspect of that job and learned a whole new aspect of treating patients, she missed the hands-on work and returned to clinical practice at Peak.
When Dr. Kluetmeier is not working you can find her in the mountains skiing, hiking, biking with her sidekick Koru, in her garden talking to the veggies and flowers, snuggling her cats with a good book, traveling the world, or helping out on HVHQSN programs with Animal Balance.
