Wrapping Up A Year of Care, Growth, and Meaningful Impact
December 16, 2025As 2025 comes to a close, we are taking time to reflect on what made this year remarkable at Ethos Veterinary Health. Across our hospitals, teams showed up every day to deliver specialty and emergency care with compassion, skill, and purpose.
More than 2 million patients received care in our hospitals this year. Each case represents a family seeking help and a team ready to meet them with empathy, expertise, and steady support during some of their most difficult moments.
Powered by People Who Care Deeply
We welcomed 108 specialty veterinarians, 140 emergency veterinarians, and more than 1,400 veterinary nurses, technicians, and assistants into our community. We are proud of the people who choose to build their careers here and of the meaningful work they do every day to support patients, families, and one another.
At the same time, we continued investing in the spaces where care happens. We completed 21 hospital updates through expansions, relocations, remodels, and new builds, helping ensure our teams have environments that support collaboration, focus, and excellent patient care.
Growing Skills and Supporting Careers
Learning and development remained a priority throughout the year. More than 1,500 team members participated in structured training programs across nursing and DVM pathways, creating opportunities to build confidence, expand clinical skills, and grow into new roles.
We also elevated the voices of our veterinary nurses through the creation of the Nursing Branch of our Specialty Advisory Board, ensuring nursing perspectives help inform clinical priorities and the future of specialty and emergency medicine.
Together, these efforts reflect our belief that exceptional medicine is built through investment in people, shared learning, and pathways that support growth at every stage of a career.
Advancing Medicine Through Ethos Science
We also continued to advance veterinary medicine through research and collaboration. In 2025, Ethos Science expanded its research footprint significantly, supporting 62 active clinical studies across 84 participating network hospitals.
By studying outcomes, sharing insights, and working together across hospitals, Ethos teams are helping shape a future of veterinary medicine that is thoughtful, evidence-informed, and deeply patient-centered.
Exploring What’s Possible with Ethos Discovery
Ethos clinicians also partnered with Ethos Discovery, our nonprofit research incubator, to contribute to studies focused on complex diseases such as cancer, neurologic conditions, and immune-mediated disorders. These collaborations give clinicians the opportunity to engage in research that informs the future of veterinary medicine while remaining grounded in real-world patient care.
One such study was recognized as a semifinalist for the AKC Canine Health Foundation’s Canine Health Discovery of the Year Award, reflecting the broader impact of this work on the profession.
At Ethos, we believe in creating a place where compassionate professionals can do meaningful work, grow in their careers, and make a lasting difference for pets and the people who love them.
As we look ahead to 2026, we are grateful for our teams and proud of what they have accomplished together. We cannot wait to see what’s next.
