At Ethos Veterinary Health, we’re redefining what it means to be a house officer—offering mentorship, structure, and growth opportunities that meet you where you are and help you reach your next level. Currently, Ethos is training 94 residents across 34 programs and 161 specialty and rotating interns across 37 programs throughout our network, reflecting our commitment to offering a broad range of high-quality learning opportunities for veterinarians.
Our competency-based learning model and hands-on mentorship ensure every intern and resident builds confidence through real-world experience. From a curated didactic curriculum for rotating interns to the nation’s first competency framework for veterinary radiology training, Ethos is creating pathways that elevate veterinary education across specialties.
Beyond clinical exposure, our partnership with Ethos Discovery gives house officers access to fully funded, multicenter research projects—a unique opportunity to contribute to studies that advance both veterinary and human medicine. And because great learning depends on great teachers, we equip our mentors with the tools and training to deliver exceptional, consistent guidance.
Last year alone, more than 160 interns and nearly 40 residents joined Ethos hospitals to continue their clinical education. Our hospitals consistently achieve exceptional match rates in the Veterinary Internship and Residency Matching Program (VIRMP), a reflection of our collaborative culture, innovative approach, and the dedication of our hospital teams.
