Urgent care facilities are an adjunct service to primary care veterinarians and critical care emergency hospitals. We are open late to care for pets in stable condition who need veterinary attention after hours.

The Ethos Veterinary Health team believes that urgent care clinics are much needed to alleviate the strain on primary care veterinarians and emergency clinics struggling with increased patient caseloads and staff shortages.

National Veterinary Associates (“NVA”), a leading global pet care organization, today announced the close of the previously reported transaction with Ethos Veterinary Health. Ethos will work alongside NVA Compassion-First, NVA’s dedicated specialty and emergency care group, to pursue their joint mission of medical innovation and to improving the lives of veterinarians, patients and their families through compassionate care.

Ethos Veterinary Health is honoring Juneteenth by raising awareness of the lack of diversity in the veterinary field, with the goal of achieving change. We are all better and stronger when we have diverse opinions and diverse thoughts.

Ethos and VetBloom are leading a series of initiatives aimed at addressing racial disparities in veterinary medicine, including a commitment of $500,000 to educational programs. A significant portion of the funds will go for diversity scholarships to Purdue’s Veterinary Nursing Distance Learning (VNDL) program.

Three new purpose-built clinics Veterinary Urgent Care Clinics will be located in San Diego in Rancho Peñasquitos, Oceanside, and Irvine in Orange County.

Ethos Veterinary Health has taken action to promote sustainability by launching the Ethos Environmental Social Responsibility Program to develop national programs that target environment friendly process improvements across the enterprise.

Ethos Veterinary Health is making a $50,000 donation to the AVMF to support veterinary teams and animal-welfare groups in Ukraine that are providing care to animals affected by the crisis.
