Tracy Hill

DVM, PhD, DACVIM (SAIM)Director of Science - Veterinary Science Consultancy

About

Dr. Hill has a degree in biology from the University of Pennsylvania. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Minnesota and a Ph.D. in gastrointestinal physiology from North Carolina State University. She did her residency in small animal internal medicine at North Carolina State University. She’s currently enrolled in the MBA program at the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management.  For the past three years, Dr. Hill has worked as an associate professor at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. Before that, she spent over four years as an assistant professor of small animal medicine and surgery at the University of Georgia and nearly four years as a senior lecturer at The University of Edinburgh in the United Kingdom.

As Director of Science, she will provide scientific support, clinical trial participation, scientific diligence, and business-side support for researchers and animal health organizations. She said the role’s focus on clinical research and business administration appealed to her, and joining the Ethos team offers opportunities to use her skill set differently.

“The research work that Ethos is doing is so exciting,” she said. “I’m looking forward to forming collaborations with industry partners and finding new ways to solve problems. With a background in academia, I’m excited to see what skills I can bring to the private sector.”
