About
Dr. Stacy Hyunsue Kim was born and raised in Torrance, CA, near Los Angeles. She received her veterinary degree from UC Davis in northern California, and then moved to the Boston area for a small animal rotating internship at Tufts VETS. Dr. Kim is passionate about all aspects of emergency medicine and surgery, and she is excited to join the incredible team at Veterinary Emergency + Referral Center (VERC). She looks forward to immersing herself in the Oahu veterinary community in order to help the beloved pets and their families through emergency situations.
Dr. Kim moved here with her partner and their pekingese-mix dog Boba and cat Baba. Some of her interests outside of work include traveling, escape rooms, and various outdoor activities.
