Rey Chi
DVMEmergency Veterinarian
Dr. Rey Chi graduated from the UW Madison School of Veterinary Medicine in 2023 with a special interest in radiation oncology. During vet school, she was a Boreinger Engleheim Summer Scholar and studied the effects of gestational hypoxia in rats as a model for autism spectrum disorder in humans. Prior to vet school, she was a research assistant at the Comparative Genetics Laboratory at UW Madison and a veterinary assistant at WisCARES.
In her free time, Dr. Chi and her husband enjoy tending to the many and varied whims of their dog Hester, a rescue from Alabama that she met during a rotation at the Dane County Humane Society.
