DVMEmergency Veterinarian

Dr. Tristan Menz-Olson was born and raised in the Sacramento area. She received her undergraduate degree in Biological Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Tristan then graduated from St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation she moved to the East coast, completing a one year rotating internship in Small Animal Medicine, Surgery, and Emergency and Critical Care. Her special interests include emergency/critical care, pain management, and avian/exotics. During her free time she is bossed around by her two cats, Piper and Penny, and her Belgian Malinois, Brody.

She is passionate about integrative medicine (acupuncture, TENS, hydrotherapy, laser therapy, etc), rehabilitation therapy, and pain management. She also loves to heal smaller creatures, such as pocket pets, avian species, and reptiles.  She is bossed around by her four cats, Penny, Piper, Poppy, and Sebastian, and her dogs also keep her in line.
