Stephanie made the decision to begin her career in veterinary medicine after her family’s Rottweiler was diagnosed with osteosarcoma (bone cancer). After assisting with her palliative care at home and holding her paw while she crossed the rainbow bridge, Stephanie was driven to not only care for animals in need, but to assist their owners through difficult or stressful diagnoses. After graduating the veterinary technology program at Carrington College California in 2016, she took the steps to obtain her license as a Registered Veterinary Technician. While Stephanie initially began her career in general practice, after joining Vista in 2017 she soon realized her heart lied in Specialty and Emergency medicine. She hasn’t looked back since! Stephanie truly enjoys being apart of Vista’s team to not only promote a positive and healthy working environment for her colleagues, but to provide the highest level of care to each patient that wags their tail or purrs their way through the front door. In her free time Stephanie enjoys road trips, attending concerts, watching true crime documentaries, and caring for her plethora of plants. She owns four cats (Greyson, Harley Quinn, Rogue, and Mercutio) and has a huge soft spot for Dobermans.
