Molly Hopp

DVM, CVA, CCRTEmergency Medicine, Acupuncture & Rehabilitative Medicine

About

Dr. Hopp has a BA with Honors in Zoology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She earned her DVM from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine. Additionally, she graduated from the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine with a certified veterinary acupuncturist degree (CVA).

Prior to earning her DVM, Dr. Hopp worked as a veterinary assistant in various small animal practices, including the Critical Care Unit at the UW-Madison Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital. She has experience with geriatric and critically ill animals through working as an animal caretaker for rhesus macaques and marmosets and as an in-home pet care assistant. She has research experience in orthopaedics, emergency and critical care, and wound healing biotechnology.

On what she enjoys most about working at WVRC…“Caring for animals is the essence of who I am. I am so fortunate to be able to provide service to animals and their families when they need it most through emergency and critical care medicine.”
