Dr. Hyatt grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. After studying Biology and Theater at Connecticut College, Dr. Hyatt returned home where she worked as a vet assistant, founded and managed her own pet-sitting business, Merry Puppins In-home Pet Services, and did TV and radio voice overs.
Always having a love for the outdoors, Dr. Hyatt set her eyes on Colorado State University for veterinary school, and moved to Fort Collins in 2011. In 2016, she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from CSU. Dr. Hyatt traveled across the country again to complete her rotating internship at University of Tennessee, where she stayed for her neurology and neurosurgery residency. She was thrilled to pack up and move across the country yet again to join the neurology team at VSH!
When she is not at work, Dr. Hyatt and her husband love to spend time outside, cook, kayak, bike, travel, and spend time with their 4 dogs.
