Kellie received her Associates of Applied Computer Science at Madison Media Institute in 2012. She originally started on her veterinary industry career path as a volunteer at a local shelter as a teenager and continues working with rescue organizations in her home town today. She began expanding her professional veterinary knowledge in 2013 with Wisconsin Equine Hospital as an administrative assistant and ambulatory field service technician. In 2016, Kellie took a role as Director of Operations for Badger Veterinary Hospital, a mixed practice caring for large farm animals and companion pets. After years of providing preventative medicine and urgent care, she was ready to shift her career focus to cutting edge specialty and emergency medicine. She joined WVRC’s Client Care team in 2017 before taking on the role of Clinical Supervisor, and in 2020 advanced to Client Care Service Manager. In 2021, Kellie has now taken on the role of Hospital Service Manager for our Surgery, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Dentistry, and Radiology teams.
On what she enjoys most about working at WVRC… “Each day I am amazed to work alongside our passionate team members. Every pet we see is someone’s family member and we take that very seriously, as we love our own pets the same way. We we deeply care about what our clients are going through when they arrive at our hospital. It makes me proud to see that each person to walk through the doors of WVRC can feel the care and compassion we provide for them and their pets!”
Home on the Range
When Kellie is not working, she can be found at home on her farm enjoying time spent with family, friends, and animals. Kellie has five adopted dogs, a cat, two horses, and a mini mule. During the summer months she rides on an equestrian drill team, The Kettle Moraine Rough Riders, traveling around the midwest for competitions, performances, parades, and charity events.
