
Dr. Marquart earned both her Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, making her a committed Badgers fan.
Prior to veterinary school, Dr. Marquart completed internships with the NEW Zoo and Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary, focusing on animal husbandry and public education for over 120 unique animal species. She volunteered in low-income communities of Guatemala to perform free spays and neuters, and to provide basic medical care for well-loved dogs and cats. She also has volunteered alongside horses for children’s hippotherapy programs and cows while performing herd health checks and reproductive care.
Dr. Marquart has enjoyed working in various emergency and general practices throughout Wisconsin and Northern Illinois leading up to and throughout her veterinary education.
She joined the WVRC team in June 2020. Her professional interests include emergency medicine, soft tissue surgery, toxicology, and palliative care.
In her spare time, Dr. Marquart enjoys traveling and spending time with her family, friends, and adorable pitbull mix, Mela.
