Dr. Kati Jacobs was born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin. She first decided she wanted to be a veterinarian at the age of 5 years old. From there, she completed her undergraduate degrees in Biology, Spanish and Zoology at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Dr. Jacobs then went on to complete veterinary school at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign in 2017. During her time in veterinary school, she fell in love with veterinary oncology. To learn more about the field of veterinary oncology, Dr. Jacobs elected to complete advanced training, including a rotating internship and oncology speciality internship at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in Tinton Falls, New Jersey. From there, she moved to East Lansing, Michigan to complete an additional oncology specialty internship at Michigan State University.
When Dr. Jacobs is not working, she enjoys reading, watching football (Go Pack Go!) and baseball (Go Brewers!), playing with her two cats, Khaleesi and Reina, and exploring local attractions.
