Holly Firestine leads the People and Organization (P&O) function at the executive level, with responsibility for developing and executing the P&O strategy in support of Ethos’ overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization. She provides leadership advice and counsel to the company’s business leaders to enable them to successfully grow the business and sets in place effective P&O planning to deliver a high-performance culture and work environment. In close coordination with the other members of the Executive Leadership Team, and with the support of the P&O team and leadership, Holly ensures that the business attracts, develops, and retains a talented and engaged workforce that will achieve Ethos’ business objectives and drive results to the next level. She also leads the implementation of initiatives that support the overall talent life cycle including talent attraction, acquisition and management, on-boarding, leadership and talent development, diversity and inclusion, culture and engagement and P&O operations.
Most recently, Holly served as the Chief People Officer of Navvis Healthcare, leading the creation, scaling and execution of the enterprise human resource strategy driving innovation in talent attraction, employer brand and talent acquisition, colleague and candidate experience, internal communications, engagement and culture, people focused continuous learning ecosystem, total rewards and operations. Holly was promoted from Chief of Staff to Chief People Officer in her first year at Navvis, becoming the company’s first Chief People Officer and first female officer. During her tenure, the company increased over 500% in headcount, with colleagues in over 22 states and the company ranked in the top third of the US healthcare industry on employee engagement. Known as an industry innovator, she was an early adopter of AI fueled predictive hiring and retention risk technologies.
Over the past 25 years, Holly has developed her business expertise in a range of healthcare leadership roles including corporate strategy, human resources management, business ownership and operations. Holly has led, and consulted with, high-achieving organizations in the government, private and public sectors working with teams in the US, Southeast Asia, and Colombia. Her innovative strategies and initiatives have led to her employers being nationally recognized by both Fortune Magazine and Working Mother Magazine as Top 100 Workplaces in the country. Holly is the President of the Board of Directors for Pathways to Independence, is an Executive Coach for Executive MBA students attending KSU and is currently completing her Certification in Post-Merger Integrations through the Institute for Mergers, Acquisitions and Alliances. She is certified to administer, analyze and debrief TTI Success Insights Emotional Quotient (EQ), 12 Driving Forces and DISC assessments.
