Greg Swope is responsible for the management and execution of Ethos’ information technology strategy, planning, development, implementation, and maintenance. In his role of leading the IT team, Greg helps enable hospital operations by effectively leveraging technology to drive better patient care and improve the customer experience. Additionally, he drives effective back office technology to enable business process efficiencies, manage data, integrations, reporting and leverage automation.
Prior to joining Ethos, Greg served as Chief Information Officer at Five Star Senior Living. At Five Star, Greg was the organization’s first CIO and built a robust IT team that managed and supported IT solutions for Five Star’s broad operational footprint. In his role, Greg was effective at selecting and rolling out new solutions for electronic health records, billing and enterprise resource planning. In addition, he oversaw technology migrations of the company’s network and telephony backbones, reducing costs and improving service. His team supported IT transitions for their robust acquisition processes.
Prior to Greg’s work at Five Star, he held leadership roles in IT at The RMR Group, Sonesta Hotels, RightNow Technologies and Orbitz.com. Greg is a graduate of Franklin and Marshall College where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Math with a Computer Science minor.
