Dina Bahrawy

DVMOncology Associate Veterinarian

About

Dr. Dina Bahrawy completed her undergraduate studies at Tufts University, her pre-veterinary studies at the University of Vermont, and graduated from Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. She is a member of Phi Zeta Veterinary Honor Society. During a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Portland Veterinary Specialists in Southern Maine, she developed a strong interest in veterinary oncology. Following her internship, Dr. Bahrawy returned to Vermont and has been working with pets and their humans in the Burlington area since 2006. In addition to oncology, Dina’s veterinary interests include pain management and care of senior pets.

When not caring for animals, you can find her hiking in the fall, skiing in the winter, gardening in spring, and floating down rivers with her family in the summer. Her pet family includes a much too clever pup named Mr. Piffles, a large and shy great pyrenees mix named George, a wise twenty-one year old tabby cat named Ollie, three chubby guinea pigs, and a rotating collection of hens.
