Dr. Annie Ubatuba grew up in the Chicago suburbs. She completed her veterinary degree at the University of Illinois in 2012. Following graduation, she completed an internship at Hagyard Equine Medical Institute with a focus in sports medicine. She then practiced as an ambulatory equine veterinarian in northwest Illinois for a year before an equine related injury led her to small animal practice. She received her acupuncture certification from The Chi Institute, chiropractic certification from The Healing Oasis, and her rehabilitation certification from the Canine Rehabilitation Institute. Her special interests include geriatric medicine, neurologic conditions and soft tissue/musculoskeletal ultrasound. She is involved in organized veterinary medicine and is on the board of directors of the Chicago Veterinary Medical Association. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, and cooking.
