UPDATE: WVRC – Waukesha All Services are Back to Normal

All SERVICES and Departments AT WVRC – WAUKESHA ARE open
Emergency services and all specialty departments are open and operating at normal levels. Our teams will continue to follow CDC guidance and protocols as we had been prior to the incident that led to the closure. We genuinely believe that we were able to respond as quickly as we did to secure our teams’ health and extend that safety to your families, because of the related protocols and procedures we have put in place.
We value your continued faith in us as a medical institution, our hearts go out to the members of our community who have been impacted by this disease.

Emergency Services at WVRC – Waukesha are back to normal
We have reopened the emergency department at WVRC – Waukesha. We will continue to provide emergency services 24 hours, 7 days per week going forward.
It is an honor to be available to support the needs of pet owners in our community and we value the trust you place in our teams. We will continue to follow all CDC guidance and protocols to ensure our teams and your families are safe, healthy and cared for.
These have been trying times for everyone involved and we thank you for your patience and understanding.

Emergency Services at WVRC – Waukesha will resume today at 4pm
We are planning on fully reopening our emergency department at 4pm today. All specialty appointments have been rescheduled, and we anticipate reopening those departments fully on Monday April 5. We will update this post with any additional information as it becomes available.
Please know that the WVRC – Waukesha team is dedicated to continuing to follow extremely cautious disinfection protocols, social distancing between team members, and all CDC recommendations regarding employees with any symptoms of illness or exposure to illness.

Emergency and Specialty Services at WVRC – Waukesha are temporarily closed as of Monday 3/29/2021.
Out of an abundance of caution, the hospital is closed today as of noon due to COVID-19 related protocols. In order to ensure the health and safety of our clients and teams, our facility will go through a deep cleaning and disinfection process and all team members will be tested for coronavirus. Following CDC protocols, we are staying closed through a precautionary waiting period to ensure that our team members are cleared.
We plan to reopen the ER and all services as soon as possible, with the earliest estimated date being Wednesday, March 31st, with our curbside concierge service still in place. We will update this post and social media as we learn new information related to the reopening of our hospital and services. Members of our team are working to reschedule all patients with specialty appointments.
If your pet is having an emergency, we encourage you to reach out to your nearest 24 hour veterinary emergency hospital. At this time we cannot receive any new patients.
