September 8, 2023

Update: Sept. 8, 2023:

Announcing Our New Name

Atlantic Street will be moving to a new hospital towards the end of 2023/beginning of 2024. Our new address will be 1901 Douglas Boulevard, Roseville, California, only 1.9 miles from our current location.. Since we will no longer be on Atlantic Street, our name needed an update to reduce confusion about the hospital’s physical location, and better serve our community.

The Hospital, Formerly Known as Atlantic Street Pet Emergency Center

We are excited to announce the new name of Atlantic Street Pet Emergency Center is Veterinary Specialty Hospital – Roseville, or VSH – Roseville for short. We are pleased to have the opportunity to lean in to the names and reputations of our sister hospitals in southern California – VSH – Sorrento Valley and VSH – North County – as we extend the range of services we provide to pet owners in Roseville and the greater Sacramento area.

Our new hospital offers 21,000 sq ft of space, a 16,700 sq ft increase on our existing hospital footprint. This additional space allows us to expand our emergency treatment areas and add a new ICU that accommodates over 40 patients. We are expanding diagnostic capabilities for patients with the addition of CT and MRI, and increasing access to specialists by adding Surgery in September 2023, expanding Internal Medicine services and appointments in January 2024, and adding Critical Care, Neurology, Oncology, Ophthalmology, and Radiology specialties over time.

We will continue providing emergency care at our current address under the name Atlantic Street Pet Emergency Center until moving day. If your pet is having an emergency, please call ahead and drive to 1100 Atlantic Street, Roseville, CA 95678.

We will continue to update you on progress and share pictures when we can!

Announcement: Sept. 22, 2022

Originally founded in the early ’60s as a primarily large animal hospital, Atlantic Street Pet Emergency Center has evolved into a 24-hour small animal veterinary emergency hospital. Staffed by highly skilled and compassionate veterinarians and veterinary technicians extensively trained in emergency medicine and intensive care, the hospital is committed to providing exceptional care when your family veterinarian is not available.

In the last year, it has become evident that we have outgrown our space. After an extensive search, we have found our future home! Ethos Veterinary Health is happy to announce that the Atlantic Street Pet Emergency Center team is moving to a new state-of-the-art hospital in the summer of 2023. The new address is 1901 Douglas Boulevard, Roseville, California, only 1.9 miles from our current location.

The initial build-out will use 21,000 sq ft. of the 32,000 sq ft. facility, significantly increasing our existing footprint by 16,700 square feet. Plans are also underway to add specialty services in critical care, radiology, internal medicine, oncology, surgery, ophthalmology, and neurology.

Highlights of Our New Hospital Include:
  • Separate feline-only waiting areas and wards
  • An ICU ward that accommodates over 40 patients
  • 22 Exam rooms, including a comfort room with a private exit
  • Orthopedic surgery suite
  • Two soft tissue surgery suites with advanced surgical equipment
  • Two digital radiography suites
  • Ultrasound suite
  • Endoscopy and fluoroscopy suites
  • Onsite magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
  • Computed tomography (CT)

Ethos Veterinary Health and the Atlantic Street Pet Emergency Center team are excited about the upcoming move and the ability to offer more advanced care to every patient while continuing to provide emergency care to the community’s pets 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.

Stay tuned on social media for updates as they become available!
